Back pain treatment options


Back pain is a common problem that is truly difficult to deal with. It may be considered as acute and chronic pain. Living with chronic back pain can be very frustrating. •       Massage therapy - Massages may also be applied to relieve the pain on the back. It reduces muscle stiffness that might be responsible for the pain, and make the muscles more flexible.

•       Exercise - Concentrate on exercises that strengthen the core muscles and improve posture. one has to do proper stretching and prevention exercises for lower back pain before lifting weights to prevent muscle strains

•       Physical Therapy – It employs exercises to strengthen the back. There are programs of exercises for lower back pain that would relieve pain especially for chronic pain in the low back area.

•       Aromatherapy massage – Aromatherapy oils help to relieve pain, such as St John's wort, vervain, white willow, and comfrey.

•       Dietary Treatment - Sour and fried foods must be totally avoided. Even pulses must be eliminated from the diet. Eat wheat, millet and sorghum rather than rice.
